Kingdom Growth Foundation LEadership Team
Charles Reynolds Executive Director
Charles Reynolds has been the Executive Director of the Kingdom Growth Foundation since March 2021.
His life verse is Galatians 2:20. He is passionate about the intentional focus of Church Revitalization because 87% of churches are either plateaued or declining. God is calling His Churches back to a deliberate focus on His Kingdom and His Righteousness.
Charles has over 45 years of experience serving churches in Alabama, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina. His focus has been on helping churches grow through operations, Capital Campaigns, and Building Projects.
Charles is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Church Revitalization at Liberty University, expecting to graduate in December 2026. He holds a CCA (Certified Church Administrator) from the Church Network. He is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Seminary (MARE 1986) and Samford University (BA 1982).
Charles is a widower with two sons — Benjamin (Covington) and Jonathan (Louisiana) — along with his wife Shannon and sons Malachi, Levi, and Graham.
Tim Barnette CEO and President
Tim Barnette has been the Senior Pastor of Heritage Hills Baptist Church since April 2022. He has been in Pastoral Ministry since 1994 and has over 30 years of pastoral experience to date. He has Pastored churches in West Virginia, Ohio, North and South Carolina, and now Georgia.
Tim is a graduate of West Virginia State University, Luther Rice Seminary, Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, and Covington Theological Seminary.
Tim has been married to his wife Kara since 1998, and they have three amazing kids: Christopher, John, and Anna. The heartbeat of Tim’s ministry is “to know Jesus and to make Him known” and to take the Gospel of the Jesus he knows throughout his community, his state, his country, and anywhere he may be in the world. When he’s not at HHBC, you can find him enjoying time with his family, hiking, or playing basketball.
He’s excited to serve on the Kingdom Growth Foundation’s Executive Board because of his firm belief that God wants His Church to GROW, and the foundation comes alongside the local church to assist them in doing just that.
His life verse is Philippians 1:20, “My eager expectation and hope is that I will not be ashamed about anything, but that now as always, with all boldness, Christ will be highly honored in my body, whether by life or by death.”
